WHO WE ARE

At the core of Affordable Repairs is a crack team of around 30 multi-trade handymen who help home owners, businesses and property managers across London deal with all those little jobs that never seem to get done. Everything from plumbing and electrical tasks to decorating and fitting, fixing and hanging jobs.


The inspiration for Affordable Repairs was the challenge of finding professional tradespeople in the capital prepared to do minor tasks. They either weren’t interested or were too unreliable or charged prohibitively high prices. It was obvious a gap existed for a high quality London-based handyman service geared to dealing with a wide range of small odd jobs and property maintenance for a reasonable price.


The Affordable Repairs handyman service was designed for busy, modern Londoners but founded on very traditional values: courtesy, punctuality, reliability, honesty, attention to detail, fairness and customer service. So we’re considerate and polite; turn up when we say we will; do what we promise; keep your home and belongings safe; clean up after ourselves; charge you exactly what we quoted; and deliver the standard of work we would want in our own homes.


We achieve this by employing top people. As well as being fully qualified and vetted, and having years of multi-trade experience, we personally test every Affordable Repairs handyman for the quality of their work.   • Affordable Repairs - We will never turn away a job for being too small.  If a job is too large or specialised for one of our handymen, we will strive to put together a team or source suitable trades people.

  • Availability - Your call will always be answered by a human being and we will respond prompt.   We will prioritise emergencies.  
  • Punctuality - We will arrive promptly at the agreed time and notify you immediately if unavoidably delayed. 
  • Appearance - We will be smartly attired in our corporate workwear. 
  • Suitability - We will only send a tradesperson who is fully insured, fully qualified and competent to carry out the jobs requested. 
  • Honesty - All our handymen are fully vetted
